Drayke's Travels

We drove along the coast roads just inland from the Cliffs of Moher from Lahinch to Doolin, where we would catch a ferry to Inisheer. We opted not to take the side road up to the top of the Cliffs because of the sheer number of tourists there.

Instead we took a ferry tour to see the Cliffs from the ocean side. We found the various ferrymen very helpful, if a little overbearing. Nonetheless we were herded onto a ferry full of other tourists and despite my lack of experience I managed to balance on the choppy seas well enough.

I took more than a few photos of waves, cliffs, crashing surf, and birds in flight. None of them begin to do justice to this landscape, most of which I blame on poor lighting. Regardless, here are a few of the better ones.
